After a career in event management, Aline felt an irrepressible need to get back to her fundamentals as well as the artistic practice that had been left behind many years before.

In her work, Aline does not seek to develop concepts but rather to express a feeling, a memory or a sensation. The image which is sometimes useful for the construction of the canvas disappears little by little and leaves the spectator free to express his or her experience and emotions.

The techniques of serigraphic reproduction mixed with painting allow her to deviate the image from its first reading and to propose a different, poetic and sensitive lighting. She deals with subjects that touches her like the children of emigration, misery and the violence of the attentats.

So many images broadcast all the time by the media that she prints, overlays and destroys in an attempt to soften the violence or the distress.

In her most recent work, new experiments are developing, where gesture, material, repetition, are so many elements that meet, assemble, harmonize or reject each other. The search for color leads us into a world sometimes peaceful and sometimes agitated. It is a game of balance between the relationships of colors, transparencies and values.
